4.3.1. Signal Processing

Spectrogram signal-processing controls with numbered callouts for Trim (1), filter mode (2), channel selector (3), CAR (4), Denoise (5), decomposition method (6), spectral method — Fourier, Wavelet or Hilbert (7), Normalize (8) and window-size (9) fields, and channel-correlation toggle (10), above the resulting spectrogram heatmap.

  1. Trim: Remove artifact segments
  2. Type: Filtered / RAW
  3. Channel: Select the channel (F8, AF4, AF3, F7, L Zygoma, R Zygoma, RR)
  4. CAR: Common average reference
  5. Denoise: Blink artifact suppression
  6. IMF: EMD mode selection
  7. Fourier/Wavelet/Hilbert: Spectral analysis method
  8. Window, s: STFT window length (in seconds)
  9. Normalize: Normalize the spectrogram
  10. Correlation of the channels: Correlation between the channels in the two panels
